Like many cities, Seattle is full of neighborhoods with very distinct personalities. Fremont prides itself in its eclectic, artsy nature.

Waiting for the Interurban has been described as a "community comedy magnet" and "a statue that encourages art attacks by creative vandals". This is one of Seattle's most popular sculptures.
