Abbott and Cal recently had their annual exam.

The vaccines at the end of the visit were traumatic for all of us. I was in tears; Abbott hid behind the exam table during Cal's shots. Perhaps next year I'll take Abbott and Cal separately. The day after getting the vaccines, Cal had a reaction in one arm with redness, warmth and swelling that necessitated a late night trip to the Emergency Room. Otherwise, we're all in good health.
