Mind Your Manners

On the top of our book pile right now are Manners by Aliki, and Do Unto Otters by Laurie Keller.

Manners is a cheerful book written in comic-book style, brimming with etiquette tips. Here are some examples:

Do Unto Otters brings the "Golden Rule" to life in the form of Mr. Rabbit and his new neighbors, the Otters. This book is very clever and full of little surprises.

What a fun and great book! We don't have children but I will have to buy this book as a gift for others. I love reading and enjoying buying books for little ones.

I am going to get that first one--it looks delightful. I asked Laura if she wanted to take a little etiquette class that's starting here soon, and she said, "Why, because I'm sassy?" I rest my case.

We check out this book every time we visit my Mom's Library (she lives out of state). I should see if my library has it. I love this book. Thanks for reminding me of it.

Wow...I think these are fantastic lessons. The "after you" page is my favorite.

Those look like lovely manners books. I may have to look into those. My boys always need a refresher coarse (usually halfway through school.)
