merry making

Our last couple of days have been full of love, family and joy.

Our candlelight service and the singing of Silent Night are so gloriously beautiful, I always leave with the feeling that peace on earth might indeed be possible.

We got Abbott this Knot A Quilt kit and he promptly set to work tying knot after knot.

Wishing you many more merry moments as you continue celebrating.

Lecia -- Beautiful photos, as always. And I love a night that includes both peace on earth and peppermint hot-fudge sundaes!

What a beautiful Christmas table, I love those plates. Nigella Lawson made a cake in a tin like the one yours was made in on her Christmas cookery show I thought I must look for one of those next year as it is so festive.

I hope you have a wonderful New Year

I think that one of the best things you can do for a child is to gift them with a project! My husband gave our eldest a latch-hook kit, and she's worked on it every day since.

Your food photos make me hungry!

My favorite part of our Christmas eve service is Silent Night as well. It just makes me happy.

Love the knotted quilt! I have eyed that for the day when my 3 year old is old enough to handle it. Merry Christmas!
