Great pictures and what a great project it is amazing the things that go unnoticed on a daily basis its nice to stop and smell the roses. You take amazing pictures!
lecia, your eye is getting very very talented, mama. i love these-the one of the first tree in particular. it's very inspiring to get to see through your eyes for a month and start notice the details of my own walks around town.
Thank you for sharing your story with me yesterday - through your comments on my blog and by sending me to your archives. I had not gone through them, and so didn't know that you had been through breast cancer. I think I understand now where your positive attitude - and your focus on the beauty in every day life - comes from.
I love to notice things along the dog walks too. I love your idea to take the camera along and that Rooster is adorable!!! Great pictures! Bundle up girl!!!
I agree things get over looked when we don't take time to appreciate. For years I have made it a habit to pick at least one thing a day to realllly look at and appreciate. Then I count my blessings that I'm able to see and enjoy it- even if it is a dust bunny. I love the rooster shot and the trees. I'm always taking pictures of trees. Thanks...xoxo
you will love my post for wednesday - you have a good eye and the fact that you are honoring this with your camera and dedicated to appreciate all you see. thanks again for sharing and reminding me to slow down and see.
Lecia -- I hope you don't get tired of me telling you all the time how much I love your photography. I just hate to look at your pics and not tell you how lovely they are! Thank you so much for sharing them with us.
You really are inspiring me to take my camera with me when I leave the house! I don't have the money right now to buy a really good one, so I'm just using a Power Shot, but it's better than nothing, right? It's the smaller moments that really make life and it would be a shame to let them slip away...
The frost looks beautiful. Love this idea of noticing the beauty of one's surroundings. Used to take photos everyday, but have long since been far too busy, and you've reminded me to make time for the little things again . . .

Thank you for the reminder Lecia~ sometimes the most beautiful and thought provoking images are right under our noses.
