february at the beach

We've had a mild week; yesterday Cal and I went walking, exploring, digging.

Seems like you had a nice afternoon. Winter didn't look so gloomy there. :)

I can almost feel the breeze and hear the water. I love the black sand and all the stones along the beach. xoxo

Lovely pictures at the beach. Frankly it's way too cold in NY for us to even think about going near the water. brrr

Thanks for visiting and for your kind compliments about the photography! I hope I didn't come across as insensitive showing these...it sounds as if many of you are freezing right now.

kks: we had a few flakes last week, but none on the ground since Christmas. Temps mid 40s to low fifties. The book is Ansel Adams The Camera. It explains photographic principles. dpreview.com is a great place to learn, too.
