Did you know? Today is World Nutella Day! I found out about the event midday; too late to prepare a smashing dessert to show you. All I can do is give you this link to these fabulous sounding recipes I haven't tried. I took a picture of my jar for you to admire, spread some on my bread for lunch and called it good. Maybe next year. If you're in Seattle I recommend the nutella dessert crepe at 611 Supreme. Are you a Nutella lover? I'd love to hear if so. How do you like it?

Wow, my pregnant body just knows, even when my mind has no idea.
I began preparing for this holiday by making nutella crepes last Sunday and continuing with spoonfuls all week long! So nice to have my craving validated by the world. he he.
oh I was introduced to Nutella 20 years ago and I think that was the last time I had it. If I started now, I would eat the whole jar. It's too die for so I stay away...but maybe i need to try the crepes.
ok so I have your blog on my list I follow. Tonight I sat down to check on blogs and I saw world nutella day. I have never heard of this but today at the grocery store I decided to buy nutella. It sounded so good and here's the weird part, I haven't bought nutella in probably 5 years. I must have felt the vibe. Thanks for the post.
Nutella is a staple grocery item here in Germany like peanut butter in the States. I never had it but my friend with 5 kids goes through jars and jars of it!
never had it! but perhaps i shall.....:)
Oh... I love it right out of the jar! mmmm... How did we miss this fab celebration! I saw it was World Nutella Day too late. xoxo
Well now, that's a holiday I can totally get on board with! Too bad I missed it yesterday, although it's probably a good thing. PB and nutella on bread is just about my favorite thing!
I would love to hear that I am wrong...
But I read that modified palm oil (like in Nutella) is worse for you than the dreaded partially hydrogenated oils that we all avoid.
I quit eating Nutella because of it.
True or Not True?
I eat Nutella straight out of the jar..spoon by spoon... LOVE IT!!
Had lots of Nutella crepes in Paris - Yum! x
Nutella is just the best! Such a dangerous thing to have in the house.
yay!! great photo! I sure had my share of nutella! yum!
Oh no---how did I miss this? I guess I'll just have to have EXTRA this weekend to make up for it!
My fondest nutella memory is the summer i spent in Nice learning french during high school---every morning we would spread it on hot, fresh croissants. there's no better way to enjoy it!
It's also super tasty on vanilla ice cream...but of course what isn't tasty on vanilla ice cream?
This reinforces the point..You learn something new daily on the net. I like my nutella straight-up. NO bread...no crackers. They used to market little packets of it which would come with a small plastic spoon. Haven't seen that around for a while now
Nutella is a gift straight from the heavens. I can't buy it... because I'll eat it! I love it straight out of the jar, but maybe on crepes best, or on a dessert of fruit... Heck, you could put it on a burger and it'd still be delicious!
