Five Senses Friday

I'm participating again this week in Abby's Five Senses Friday, as a way to think about how all of my senses are engaged at some point in the day. Today's Five Senses post is about my morning yesterday.

Sight: blossoms beginning to open

shop windows

Smell: Arosa: waffles, coffee, grilling sandwiches

Taste: Arosa: mozarella-artichoke-roma panini sandwich

Sound: yoga: inhale exhale

Touch
: yoga: maintaining a stressful pose with a sense of ease; taking this experience into my day

Your five senses for the day appear to be very similar to the way my day often starts! However, my yoga mat is rather glittery still. (Remember the valentines? told you we get glittery...)

I think you would love the writings of Thomas Merton.
Your photos need no words to make sense.

Yum!!! Arosa Waffles!
I used to work by them and...well i don't need to go into detail. But, yes, they have a very sweet distinct and amazing smell!!

Hi! This is so fun! I have a lot of responses to your comments: I did notice that you linked to elliot bay, i loved it and now i feel so good to know that it was because of abby's post. thanks for doing that! you don't have to feel too bad about missing isabel allende because it was at a big ywca fundraiser and it was $150. I was only lucky enough to be there because I was selling books.
and yes, i was at molly's event! I wish i would have known who you were then. I was the girl who introduced molly and was probably pretty flustered because there was an amazing amount of people there! if we interacted, hopefully i was nice to you :)

Thank you so much for saying hi on my blog, fellow Seattleite and lover of good books!

So lovely...are those cherry blossoms, or peach blossoms? Must now go and improvise some version of that panini, right now!
