kids artist trading card swap

Abbott is thrilled to be participating in a kids artist trading card swap. In his group, there are five other six year olds; three in the US and two in the UK. Over 900 children worldwide are participating in the swap. Predictably, he wanted to know why he could only make and receive five. We mailed his cards last week, and so far have received one card from Skipton, UK.

my sons made all their own pokemon cards - which was great fun. You are an "ACE" of a Mom!

What a terrific project for them. Getting in touch with other children from near and far can result in lifelong friendships. Like the pen pals we had when I was younger- now everyone emails - and as easy and instantly gratifying that it is- it has taken something away from finding a special envelope in the mail- just for you.

This is so neat- I didn't know this program was available. I like the last photo with the way Abbott's crayons are laid out to match his shirt!! Great job Abbott!

That is so cool! What a fun project! I've often wished that we had someplace local that did an ATC swap, but I hadn't thought of getting Gillian involved in one. Hmmmm....

What a great idea! And tell Abbott they are all fantastic...but I think "Castle" is my personal favorite. (Maybe because I think I am the Queen? ;-)
