I'm feeling quiet and sleepy today. Confession: five years behind the masses, we just started watching LOST from the beginning. (We are a no-TV family, except for special events like hockey tournaments. Becky had a facebook update about it that piqued my curiosity; I ordered season 1 from Netflix.) And I'm staying up far too late watching just one more episode, and scaring myself silly.
So I'm looking forward to this afternoon, when the obligations of the day are fulfilled. I'm reveling in these slightly warmer, longer days. Cal and Abbott will play with their diggers and balls; I will sit on the bench of our deck and close my eyes, and let the sun and sounds stream in.

Sounds wonderful- a little added vitamin D. Enjoy your day!
Sounds like a nice afternoon. I got lost with Lost a couple of seasons back but I really want to take the time to try and catch up one day.
The last season of Lost lost me. But I hear this season may be the best. On my list of things to do one day is to watch all of the episodes in one weekend.
Often it is in losing oneself that we find awareness.
Enjoy losing yourself in contemplation on your bench, on your deck. Love to join you there, in the sun and the spring sounds.
I have yet to watch an episode of Lost - I'm way behind the masses, too! Although I'm looking forward to season 2 of Mad Men coming out on DVD. Hubby and I absolutely LOVE that show. (I'm secretely in love with Don Draper. Shhh.)
Have a peaceful day....
that first photograph is gorgeous!
The buds of Spring.... enjoy that well deserved moment in the sunshine... xoxo
Oh I am a huge fan of lost. Keep watching, its sooo good. I look forward to wednesday nights and the episode flies by far too fast. Then I have to wait another week for the next episode. It's torture :)
Lovely images. I never kept up with Lost either, but I know what you mean about staying up late to see the next episode of a great show!
Enjoy the sunshine giving you the warmth you desire. It can be very rejuvenating.
i had a friend who would take ambian because he couldn't stop watching lost! :) also, thanks for your comment about the independent bookseller--i just changed the link. thanks! joannaxo
Enjoy the warmth of the sun and watching those darling boys play, nothing is better than that!
shout out for you on my blog lecia! hope it's looking more spring like out there than it is here on the vineyard!
I desperately want to be a no-tv family, but my husband won't hear of it. Long story...
yay no-tv families! good for you guys
So glad you're enjoying it! It's fun to have a show to watch with the hubs. Kind of like a date.
Season 2 is even better!
My husband enjoys "Lost" too! I just mentinoned to him last night that everytime I watch Lost, I get lost.
your afternoon sounds like a perfect way to relax and get lost in your thoughts. Enjoy... xoxo
We did the same thing two seasons ago! My husband and I had missed out on the Lost train so while Season 3 was on the TV we were doing a Netflix marathon of 1 + 2 (and then 3). I miss watching it on DVD — so much fun to watch in clumps. We lost a lot of sleep those weeks too – so addictive!
Can I ask you a favour? If you are inclined, would you be so kind as
to pop over to http://style.la-mimi.com/weekly-fashion-idol/vote-for-your-favorite-fashion-idol/
I just would love if you would vote for your favourite. Better if you vote for me. :)
Thank you
