my treasure

It has been one of those weeks in the Phinney household. A week of fever (105.6!), sleepless nights full of coughing, antibiotics started for pneumonia. A tension in my personal life. Yesterday as I was holding Cal to comfort him, I found myself meditating on this beautiful post about treasure.

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. - Thornton Wilder

What is a treasure of yours? Say it, write it, take a picture of it...live your life as proof of it.

Here's hoping your little sweetie is on the mend. Beautiful reminder! I am off to work soon and will enjoy thinking of all my "treasures" in life throughout the day! Thanks! :)

Love the picture of that sweet face, hope he gets well soon, and your personal life tensions fade into nothingness. Spring is on its way, although I understand you have had more than enough snow in Seattle..... hugs, love and support from Alaska........

no illness here this week-thank God! but i felt so the same when I read that post. that quote needs to be tattooed on my brain. it is so easy NOT to be conscious of our treasures.
