I spent some time over the weekend finding our Easter books. Our favorites:
The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes - a story about a kind and clever bunny; a feminist tale from 1939!
The Truth About Easter Rabbits - describes the many Easter Rabbits that live all around the world, and how they decorate and deliver Easter eggs.
The Golden Egg Book by Margaret Wise Brown - a giant Golden Book first published in 1947; a sweet story about wonder, imagination, surprise, and friendship.
A Tale for Easter by Tasha Tudor - a simple and sweet Easter story.
The Easter Rabbit's Parade by Lois Lenski - farm animals all contribute to a surprise for the girl who takes care of them. Sweet story, beautiful illustrations.
If you have any favorites I haven't mentioned, I'd love to hear about them in the comments.
