Things were moving slowly here this weekend. Alexi was on call working at the hospital. This was our first Saturday without hockey in months, as the season ended last week; baseball practice was rained out. We did some indoor camping. Eating at the campground (tables above made out of blocks - note Bicycle the bear has his own table too - were made to surprise me while I made lunch). Lots of playing, stories, and art. Interrupted here and there by a walk to the beach, and a little baking.
How about you? How was your weekend?

It sounds like a fun weekend was had by all including Bicycle the bear. That sure looks like a dandy camp lunch to me!
I love little 'playdays' when all you do is that, unpredictable and unplanned. Pure magic!!

i had a really busy weekend. seeing and reading about yours makes me want to take it easy this weekend.
I had a nice weekend up until 6 PM on Saturday when Mt. Redoubt erupted, and the winds carried ash all over Anchorage Alaska. What a mess! On Sunday I cleaned up and woke up on Monday morning to fresh snow, which cleaned the air and will make further cleanup much easier.
Love the glimpse of your weekend!
Pretty slow moving weekend here...but it's good to have those every once in awhile!
Love a slow moving weekend. Ours was slow too with the rain. Even did a bit of writing. Nice.
A very nice and relaxing weekend. We sometimes have indoor picnics at our place. I like these kind of weekends.
Great weekend here! Yours looks like you made some great memories to treasure.
My weekend was very relaxed, but nice. We had a hail storm! So bizarre... will spring please stick?
Went to a fabulous wine tasting on Friday and caught up with some old friends from high school..then worked all day Saturday and Sunday...life of a Realtor!! Check out my post today...new listing.. gonna try anything to get the word out!! Have a WONDERFUL week! :)
I, quite sadly, spent most of the weekend holed up in my bedroom with a killer headache. The girls - on the other hand- had a fabulous time reconnecting with daddy after a week away!
By the way, my girls have a gigantic tent in our basement that's set up as their playhouse. It's one of my favorite places in the house!
lovely! i love slow weekends. we had a half n' half weekend. very social saturday and slow sunday. the perfect combination to match the beautiful spring weather we had.

Sounds perfect.
it sounds so lovely and i don't know how you do it with two boys! i don't know where exactly i am missing the mark, but things are just all kinds of crazy here all the time! thanks for that peek in.....
Oh...this sounds so nice :) I wanna do some indoor camping too!! My weekend was quite boring, but oh well, there's another one in a few days!
Out of sheer boredom, we took the bus DT to Pike Place market. We watched a guy solve a Rubik's cub with one hand while spinning a book on the other. Jonah was really impressed. We bought French pastries - a mirengue the size of his head for Jonah, and a pink eclair for Audrey.
We had a quiet weekend, which is what I need sometimes.
Your boys are just so cute. I love their mock picnic tables.
Baseball on Saturday, fighting colds, dinner with my sis and her kids, church on sunday,...it was a pretty nice weekend.
Oh and lots of baking and trying new recipes...I made the best French Toast Strata for breakfast on Sunday...to die for and soooo easy!!!!!
