Oh my! I know my six-year-old gets tired at school. I still think full-day kindergarten is a horrid idea given what it does to her sometimes. (And I say this as someone who LOVES our school, the teacher, and everything she's learning.)
Congrats on having raised a boy who is able to articulate his needs!

Yesterday morning was lovely and my daughter said on the way to the bus, "It's a gorgeous day, too bad I have to go to school!"
ha! I love kids and how they just are open and honest!
