This is Abbott's week of spring break (Cal's preschool break was last week). Alexi has to work part of the week, so we aren't traveling far; we're enjoying some local activities. Today Abbott wrote out a schedule that prominently included "Fun". Check.

RE: starting seeds inside vs. in the ground...
I talked to my friend Caitlin (who is on the farm) about that and it
sounded like you can do either. Their farm has done both. I'm just
going straight to the ground because it's easiest :) (at least for
this year). you have to add a lot of extra stuff to the soil if you do an inside start.
