We very much enjoyed our weekend, despite some of us being somewhat sick.Highlights:
*Two trips to two different pools.
*A pretty much perfect Saturday afternoon with friends, ending with a perfect meal outside.
*Abbott's summer birthday (August 1) will be celebrated at school this coming Thursday. He wants to bring a treat he and Cal can make without any help (aside from the oven part). So, we settled on brownies from a mix, and he and Cal did a trial run Friday night.
*A new rope ladder for Abbott; a first grade graduation gift given a bit early. He's been wanting it for months, and was really thrilled to get it.
* A new summery drink recipe.
*There was spring soccer.
*A leisurely visit to a neighborhood farmer's market.
At the end of this week school will be out! Wishing you all a very lovely start to your week.

A rope ladder is a really neat gift. I was a tree climber as a kid, and it all about getting scraped up. Abbott's ladder should alleviate some of that. Enjoy!
My favorite part of life, that toothless stage... as well as the end of school. Looks like a glorious weekend!

I'm just back from my garden, and something has eaten ALL of our lettuce ... I never ever had that happen before, and I must say I'm a little (understatement) upset. Would some of that summer drink of yours help with postgardening depression?

Lecia, drinks were had by all this weekend. The Strawberry Shag looked so good I had to make one. Maine strawberries are about a week away. Yeah!
