I hope you all had a great Father's day! We made waffles with strawberries and whipped cream for breakfast, then went to the Fremont Street Fair. Followed by Abbott's last spring soccer game. Came home and made a strawberry pie...in retrospect, I guess you could say our day was pretty sugary.
Jean, our 15 year old houseguest from France arrived safely on Saturday. Cal, true to his nature, has been full of questions for him: "Jean, have you ever been on a locomotive?" "Jean, have you ever been surfing?"
The boys both made Alexi a book for Father's day; great treasures.
Happy Monday to you, friends!

Lecia, your photos are amazing. I love the one of your son eating blue cotton candy; the combination of the blue and red baloon is so retro and eye-catching! Sounds like you all had a fantastic weekend. Thanks for sharing!
Eye candy - your photos are terrific. Children are always full of fun and intrigue. Enjoy every minute with"Jean" and do America proud by showing Jean all the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Such a lovely post -- especially the first image, which reminds me of when I was little -- a balloon and cotton candy, and I was a happy, happy girl.
