What are you up to this weekend? We've got a 15-year-old houseguest from France arriving today, to stay with us for the next three weeks. He was here last summer and was a delight to have around. He's the grandson of the family Alexi lived with as an exchange student in high school.
A few great links for your weekend:
rhubarb soda and rhubarb cosmopolitans
the perfect last-minute Father's Day card
I'll be making oven-roasted vegetables along with Copper River salmon on Father's Day.
the world is getting smaller
Happy summer solstice!

That sounds awesome having an exchange student for a while.
I think hosting an exchange student is a win-win for both sides. Your boys must be thrilled.
Happy summer solstice to you as well!
Lovely! Enjoy and I hope he speaks french to you and the boys.

Sounds like fun! Hope you all have a great time, Lecia.

Love those photos of your sweet boys and their rhubarb sodas - I'll be making those next weekend during our getaway up north with friends. I can't wait! This weekend is my weekend to work though, so that's what I'm up to...:)
