Just after cleaning up from dinner, we head out on our eveningwalk. By the time we get home, the boys have collected an array of treasures. They then sort and organize them, in all their randomly colored beauty. And so a summer day ends.
What a nice way to wrap up a day. Walk. Collect. Admire. Sweet dreams are sure to follow.
Unlike my evening routine. Walk 3 unruly little poodles who think they are the baddest on the block. See other dogs. Pull leash. Bark. Ruckus. Fall asleep on couch.
I wish we had someplace where i felt comfortable letting the girls collect like that - other than in the back yard, of course. Having worked at a state park back in high school, though, I'm probably more paranoid than most about never, ever removing anything. (Which just isn't much fun.)
Lecia, I left a message for you in your anniversary blog. I thought I'd tell you so you could go back and read it. I wasn't thinking when I left it there....that maybe you wouldn't go back to read old comments to see if there are new ones. Jeneice

We have little collectors in our tribe as well! Lovely photos!
You captured the moment beautifully for them to have for all time. Well done.
Wow, how I love your blog!! It just makes me so happy. These photos are perfect, as are your garden shots for yesterday. Thank you for being here.

Thank you everyone! And thank you Jeneice - I did read your earlier comment - I really appreciate it. xoxo
