on my street

We typically take after-dinner walks as a family, to the end of our street and back. We happen to live on a long, dead end street that feels like a meandering country road.

Lovely! Perfect summer ritual.

(or perhaps you're hard core Seattleites and do it in the rain as well:-)

What take after-dinner walks but aren't quite as lucky as you to have such a beautiful meandering street.

What a lovely walk. Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures. We enjoy evening walks too, since I have a new baby now I haven't brought my camera, but I think it's time to start again. :)

We used to take family walks as well...but our neighborhood started to feel too small for that. Perhaps we should start again.

I love the idea of an evening walk after dinner - we are doing our first this evening.

thank you everyone! And yes, we try to do it year round but there is definitely more motivation to walk when the weather's nice.
