So here I am at the
Museum of Flight with the boys; a favorite destination of theirs. They love to soak it all in. In the evening I look through my photos, such as these, with Alexi, and tell him the day's stories. It's a great way to unwind and catch up with each other. Then I write my blog posts, and schedule them to 'publish' automatically the next day. This is one of my favorite times of reflection and thinking. I like the habit of it all, the ritual, the rhythm.

ps. we didn't make it to the beach yesterday the girls have a contagious viral infection - hopefully they will be clear in a couple of days.
My boys would love the museum of flight, and my girl too, if it were dedicated to helicopters!
love to glimpse into your life......love the first photo..

What a great museum!
The photos are great. Ritual is definitely a good thing.
If only I were so dedicated! I do love your ritual, and love how well it incorporates into your family life.
fun!
and it happens very much the same for me/us.
blogging (aka writing and sharing photos in my case) has been incredibly cathartic.

You expose your children to such wonderful experiences. And thanks for taking us along!! I showed Ron this post. Loved the airplane pictures, never thought of visiting this museum until I saw this post, next time I am Seattle I think I will check it out. I love airplanes too!! Our downtown Anchorage office windows overlook Cook Inlet and the military jets and planes from Elmendorf Air Force Base fly by our windows every day on practice flight missions. I just love to watch them. So sleek and imposing!!
wow
that must be very cool!!!
the boys looks so concentrated!!!
great shots!!
the airplanes are amazing!!!
I discovered your blog a few days ago and I've found it really inspiring. I particularly enjoy the posts related to the boys. I have a 4 and a half-year-old boy myself and I've been putting some of your ideas into practice. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Lecia this post linkedWithin to Andy Goldsworthy. but the post isn't avail... do you know why? I'd love to see it.
Your posts and photos have become just like brushing your teeth, non-negotiables. My art is like that.
It completes me and my day.
I would love to go to see this museum.
