yum. there are bushes of blackberries and raspberries in my parent's backyard. i wish i were there right now, so i could pick them and bake something...
Gorgeous blackberries- what did you do with them? Something delicious I know. I have a friend that collects abandoned birds nests and has them on a twiggy branch in her powder-room. Love Superman.
I was visiting my 90+ neighbor over the weekend and as I walked up her driveway I was eating the blackberries off her trees. Reminded me as a kid when I would do this with the neighbor's tree. Ahhh... superman I bet whiz through all of those berries in no time. The nest is perfect! xoxo
yum. we had blackberries covering the back half of our yard. a couple years ago, we cleared them out, built a new fence, and are sooooo happy to have reclaimed the space to be a bit more usable (our garden boxes reside there now), but oh, i do miss those blackberries. nicola http://whichname.blogspot.com
My goodness, that brings back memories! I used to go berrying at the state park I worked at - in full 1876 period costume, no less. It was always one of my favorite parts of the job!

Summertime has a way of bringing out the SUPER man and woman in each and every one of us.

I'll be right over to join in the picking.
A "berried" treasure!!
Berries and a birds nest.
Our blackberries are starting to ripen already here too though it does feel like it's a bit early still.

I am so glad that Superman costume is getting plenty of wear. I bet it's great as briar-protective gear!
We have got to get up to NC and pick some berries before the bears and birds get 'em.
Oh how delicious
These pictures remind me of a Galway Kinnell poem, "Blackberry Eating".
