This week included great times with family and an unexpected root canal. I'm slowly starting to catch up on the mundane aspects of life that are unavoidably essential...and ready for a nice quiet weekend. Think we'll have a family movie night tonight - E.T. maybe. You?

I had a root canal a year ago. It surprised me because I was really afraid but it was no worse than a cavity-filling type appt. I really dislike the crown appointments, unless Queen Elizabeth wishes to bequeath an award to me.
This weekend will be just getting Ron thru as comfortable as possible. He still has a catheter in place until Monday and he is getting cranky. Oh well, thankfully it is not permanent and I am off to Jersey on Sept 5 for a much needed break.
An earlier post of yours inspired me, and I've got sangria mingling together in my refrigerator for tonight's Girls' Night In.

Sorry about your tooth. Root Canals are the worst well actually the pain leading up to the needed root canal.
Oh no, root canal! You definitely need some chill time after that.
It is delightfully rainy here today. Hank thought it was still nighttime when he woke up this morning. We're going to be home all weekend for the first time in weeks, and I'm looking forward to it.

I went to the dentist today --no fun. I hope the root canal goes well. Tonight we're celebrating birthdays so homemade chocolate cake and movies it is!

ooohh.....so sorry about the root canal! I'm getting the five fillings in the next two weeks, so I can sort of sympathize (my last pregnancy wreaked havoc, and I wound up with 13 caveties!)
We're planning a quiet weekend so that the girls can unwind after their first week of school.
