Yesterday evening the sun was shining, and we found ourselves at the
Palace Ballroom Ice Cream Social. Six local artisan vendors were present with gelato, sorbet and ice cream. It had the feel of a county fair in downtown Seattle, complete with games and a photo booth. We sampled and sampled and sampled, and the boys could not believe their good fortune to be having ice cream for dinner.

We all loved the sweet corn-caramel ice cream from
Empire.

Lots of great flavors by
Molly Moon.

Full Tilt offered handmade root beer in addition to ice cream. The mexican chocolate from this vendor was perhaps my favorite flavor of the evening.

Abbott's overall favorite was the chocolate mint from
Half Pint.

Cal's favorite was the blueberry from
Parfait.

A perfect ending to a summer day.

This is a lovely blog. I wanted to let you know that the stamp I use is made from a stamping kit I bought. The kit contains the whole alphabet and little holders which you put the letters in. I use it all the time for invitations and things. I got mine at a local stationers but I'm sure you could find them on the web.Mine cost £20 Also thanks for stopping by and commenting!

I would have loved to have a spoon in my hand for this event. It reads like a daydream! :)
That's quite a selection! I'm not very adventurous when it comes to icecream, and always end up having the same old flavors: pistacho and lemon in a cone!

Memphis King is hysterical! And I would have LOVED to go to this event...I would have circled the tables many times over. I was very, very close to buying an ice cream maker this weekend...but I thought that may be dangerous (or, on the opposite end of the spectrum would sit in my closet unused. :-)
