I am planning to transition into fall gracefully as there are so many things to look forward to. Color and more color, cashmere, boots, soup, crisp days, my birthday, pumpkins, my anniversary, tights...
If today's high of 87 and low of 53 are a sign of things to come, I'm smitten.

wonderful, shrooms are so interesting....no idea what they are, just love looking at them!
xo
These photographs are fantastic! Almost as though I was right there. Have no idea what kind of mushrooms these are... I only know they aren't morels- that's a spring mushroom. Morels I know and love.
As for me, I would like a slower transition into Fall.... there is now snow in the Chugach mountaintops and lots of leaves to rake. Not ready!!! xoxo
Oh my, these are just gorgeous.
Love the photos!

mother nature is such an amazing artist and you have captured her work very well!
Even fungi are gorgeous as seen by you! Our rule is just, "don't eat it!" (recalling french elephant looking rather green) I really should learn more so we could have some treats!
I love these!
I hope everyone is feeling better at your house. We are still in the yucks.
Happy Birthday!
Breathtaking! I always find myself taking pictures of fungus in the fall.
I too love this time of year. I can't wait till October and I don't even have a bday! xoxo
Well, I stumbled here by accident from Twitter (@Herbguy sent me the link but I think he meant to send a different one). Your photos take my breath away, they are gorgeous. If you ever take pictures of livestock, esp. cattle, pigs, or sheep, let me know! In the meantime, I'll be back.
Wow...87!! Jealous. And love your mushrooms. :-)
Fall is always a much anticipated relief around here, and so we too are very happy to welcome it!
