Hi folks! How's your week going? I took these this morning after my run; the cormorants quickly got spooked by my presence, unfortunately. I love the way the wild poppys (poppies?) grow up around the rocks at the beach - another photo of them is in the banner above.
I get asked a lot what my plans are now that the boys are both in school. I have to admit the question always surprises me. The short answer is that I plan to do what I've been doing, better. Better with a little more time during the day to keep our family organized and running smoothly, and more time to be useful at school and in our community. When I'm lucky, coffee or lunch with a friend. And I really hope that, once I'm finished catching up with the organizational chaos summer left behind, I'll have a little extra time for reading some of the books I often don't have the energy for in the evening. One book I'm eager to read is Unconditional Parenting by Alfie Kohn. Oh, and I love having a few extra minutes a day to take pictures. That's also nice.
