festive

It was a weekend that included pumpkin prowling, a party, a bit of lounging and a few storm clouds. Gorgeous sunrises, too. Yours?

What fun! This is such a great time of year for children's activities.
Me- I was assisting with a big move.

Love the alligator in the pumpkin pond!
A pumpkin prowling party sounds like such good fun for the kids.

I tried intricate pumpkin carving a couple times. My efforts were less than successful...perhaps my patience has improved over the years and I should try again. Because that cat in the pumpkin is so cute.
Or perhaps it takes someone as creative as you.

Lecia I like the bobbing for apples. I didn't know this game is still played today. Brings back memories. xoxo

What fun! I remember fondling taking my kids a couple of years to the pumpkin prowl. It was always amazing to see all those pumpkins carved and lit up! This weekend I was on the mend with a cold and cleaned out my son's closet! Six bags to Goodwill!

What a fun weekend. Ours included a visit to my village where we went on a short country-walk; loved it!

I love it-this weekend I went to the corn maze at night--so much fun! There was autumn-y music, spiced cider, candy apples and donuts, too!

For some reason I have not been able to conjure the Halloween Spirit yet; thankfully I've got the rest of this week to get out some decorations and set the mood. I did make a tutu for my daughter, though; now her princess dress will be nice and poofy!

Wow, that storm cloud is GORGEOUS. I live on Bainbridge Is., and apparently a big storm (major thunder), went through last night. So sad I missed it, we are temporarily in Central CA...big thank you for sharing! I miss the PNW.
