I slept restlessly last night listening for the phone to ring with news about my Grandmother. Abbott was up shortly before 6:00am, so I asked him to join me in making muffins. It helped, in my tired state, to have something to focus on, and the one on one time with Abbott was a nice, quiet start to my day. Cal woke up shortly after 7:00 and came to the kitchen with the pronouncement, "something smells yummy in here". The recipe we used yielded the best tasting pumpkin muffins I've ever had. The mixture of cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on top makes all the difference.
After breakfast while brushing his teeth Abbott lost another tooth - great excitement in the house!

Sometimes we subconsciously reach out and do something we like to do in order not to think about the "other" thing we don't want to think about for the moment. You and your Grandmother are in my prayers.

They sound and looking so yummy! You and your family are in my thoughts.
L & A & C & A, thinking of all of you. L - I'm so glad that you got some quiet time with C and then some super excited time with A. It's things like those that get us through. Supportive thoughts are being sent across the miles. J
