This tree is in my neighbor's yard. I don't notice it at all until fall, then it catches my eye each and every time I walk into my bedroom and the kitchen.
I've always liked the shape of the Ginko leaves. Thanks for the intro to Hula- what a charming blog. Blogging every day for a month- I really do try, it's a little harder on the weekends- and I hope yours is nice.
Lecia - I love the quote on Hula. It's so very quaint and true, it touched my soul. And the colors of the Ginko leaves are beautiful. So golden, like honey. Thanks for sharing your goodies. Have a wonderful weekend!
lecia, thank you thank you for the links. yes yes yes to both of them. i photograph "mundane" things all the time. and the realization post....i had a similar realization as i was listening to barbara kingsolver's animal vegetable miracle. she described one boy as having no idea where a carrot came from. your ginko is beautiful. (i love those trees!) have a lovely weekend! nicola http://whichname.blogspot.com
I looooove ginkgo! I always forget about it, too, until this time of the year. It's lovely. And, I always take a deep sigh/breath of fresh air when I stop by this blog. Thank you for the gorgeous posts. xo

Nice neighbors: that is a spectacular view from your windows!
oooo......We don't have any ginko trees around here, but I absolutely LOVE the shape of their leaves! Thanks for sharing the pictures!
I have Natalie Goldberg's book - but haven't looked at it in years. Perhaps it's time to go back.
