today's special

Continuing with this week's breakfast theme...

We have an automatic order set up with Amazon to deliver a dozen bags of Bear Naked granola (fruit & nut variety) every single month, we love it that much. The secret ingredient is cranberries - we find them so much more yummy than raisins. And no other greek yogurt compares to Fage in my humble opinion.

We read to the boys at breakfast - it keeps them focused on eating (unfortunately time is always at a premium in the morning). Ranger Rick and National Geographic Kids are enjoyed by all.

Is anyone else as excited as I am that it's apple season once again? Honeycrisp were on the breakfast menu today.

I'm hurrying out the door for a day of errands and a hair appointment. One of the best things about the salon I go to is the magazines. There is an impressive array to choose from and I invariably choose the French and the Italian Vogue. It's always so interesting to me to see how different they are from the US version in so many ways.

I hope you have a lovely Wednesday. xoxo

So funny, I have a hair appointment today too!

And we just bought our first bunch of honeycrisp. They're my absolute favorite apples.

And my hair appointment is tomorrow. We also love Bare Naked granola - very tasty.
Macoun apples are my favorite. They are a combination of MacIntosh and Delicious, although they look like MacIntosh! Enjoy your day.

fage is my favorite (though Trader Joe's also makes a good greek yogurt).
Must give that granola a spin, though I usually make mine. I know what you mean about the cranberries. They make all the difference!

I have started making our own gronala it is so easy, but Bear Naked is wonderful. I love the Cocco Beach the best.

Lecia,
I am surprised that you do not make your own granola! We make ours and add a variety of ingredients. I love adding cranberries and coconut!
Try it sometime!
Love that yogurt!
yummo!

I'm glad for apple season, too. We've been munching away on our picks from the orchard - did you know the Honeycrisp was produced and developed here in Minnesota as part of the University's apple breeding program? Just a little fun fact for you today! :)

yogurt, honey, fruit, and granola. staples, here, too, but we make our own granola and yogurt. greek yogurt makes a great start. and, oh, doesn't the type of honey make a difference, too? yum...off for a snack now!

We love Fage yogurt- but must admit we've never had Bear Naked granola; when we eat granola, I have made it myself. But I sure am willing to try their granola bars! Now as to reading matter at the hairdressers, where I seem to spend an inordinate amount of time....I am hiding my head in shame, but I read all the trashy stuff: People, Hollywood mags- anything I never get to see ( and have no intention of buying) at home. Don't tell!!

Honeycrisps taste like apples should -- sweet, juicy and delicious. And I love Bear Naked granola even more now after I saw the guy who started the company compete on this past season of Survivor. He was really a nice guy -- or he fooled everybody into thinking he was, at least!

Bear Naked is a tad too sweet for me. I'm hooked on Red Wagon Cosmopolitan, and I buy it in embarrassing quantities!

Can I tell you how much I LOVE Bear Naked granola? I used to stock up on it at Target. Sadly... no Bear Naked granola in Sweden. Yet another reason I miss home.
