Thank you for this post...Today, I am remembering my Father in Law..he just passed away in May... coming up on 6 months next week.. my heart aches each day for my husband who is trying to cope with the loss of his Dad/Dear Friend....
I have loved ones I remember every day, and tomorrow is the day we remember together.
My four grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousin, a special Grandmother and my Father. I believe they're all in a better place.
my dear long lost brother
Remembering are ancestors gives us a greater conection to the past, but also gives us a greater sense of purpose. I once read that there is a Jewish saying how you treat the elders in your life is how your children will treat you. I am remembering my dear Grandmothers who taught me to live with style and grace.
A beautiful post! xoxo
