for 2010 and a giveaway

A Day That is Dessert: Through the Seasons 2010 is a collection of some of my absolute favorite photos in and around my home, moving through the seasons. The calendar measures 13.5 x 19", and is printed on a heavy, high quality paper. You can see a complete preview (I recommend clicking the 'full screen mode' button at the bottom right of the preview screen) and buy a calendar by following the link.

After spending so much time staring at the images on my computer screen as I put it together, I was thrilled to receive my copy this past week. It makes a huge difference, seeing pictures in print, large enough to see properly. I'm looking forward to having it up throughout the coming year. I've decided to give away one copy, in the hope that it provides a bit of inspiration to one of you (I wish I could give away many more) in the coming year. Just leave me a comment here if you're interested; I'll select a winner Wednesday, November 18 before I go to bed and announce the winner Thursday morning.

I love calendars, and would love to win one of yours. Your photos are always lovely. I live in the same part of the world as you (just a bit further north...), and the pictures you take feel very familiar some days.
Thanks for the opportunity! I'll keep my fingers crossed!

stunning! i have been taking a blog/internet break for the past days, and just as i make my way back, this is what i see! you are an incredibly talented photographer and have such amazing surroundings of natural beauty. when i see photos like this i really miss the seasons, that i don't have in the same way anymore. but in that bittersweet way when you are reminded about home and childhood.

have a great week, lecia

I saw the pictures when you first linked to the calendar; they are familiar in a cosy kind of way after I've been reading you for such a long time.
PS. I found what I think is the perfect frame for the photo you sent me. You can find a picture on my blog tomorrow.

Lovely calendar! I received a Christmas gift from a friend living in Texas (1999). If I could win this, it will be a perfect Christmas gift for me to mark this special decade.

I can see how it must be a really special feeling to hold your photos and leaf through them, and not just look at them on a screen. And what a wonderful gift to give away!

This looks wonderful Lecia. I've always been fond of the picture you've used for the cover. I'm sure it was hard to whittle it down to just 12 photos. I am actually kicking myself as this evening (before checking your blog!) I ordered a bunch of calendars for Christmas for my family via qoop...lulu looks much nicer! Oh well next time, I guess!
