Recently I had the pleasure of attending a potluck-style tea party hosted by a blogging/twitter friend.
She provided:
Tea
Hot Water
Sugars
Cream
Selection of Jams
Lemon Curd
Lemon wedges
Butter
We were to bring:
A teapot (many teas were tasted), a favorite teacup or mug (if
old or meaningful, and with a story behind it even
better) and something to share, such as:
breads
scones
sweet pastries
savory pastries
fruit
chocolate
finger sandwiches
little veggies
bubbly
an egg dish
cold cuts
cheese
cookies
A great time was had by all!

Love tea parties! Looks like it was a grand time. A friend of mine owned a tea restaurant. OK I'm craving one her scones about now. A friend just called asking if I knew of a tea place. Smile...
