This week at school Cal is learning all about the various winter holidays celebrated here and around the world. As I've listened to him describe what he's learned, and drawing on what I know, it seems they are all in some form a celebration of light shining in darkness, and of the magic and wonder that is all around us.Wishing you a day filled with many moments of peace.

Thanks, Lecia. It is snowing like crazy over ANC. I am getting my clothes ready to FED EX to Jersey (I never check bags and now that airlines charge passengers a fee per checked bag, FED EX is the way to go). Headed there on Sunday night to spend the holidays with Mom while she is in the hospital. xoxoxo
