Several times I tried to photograph an eagle sitting where the crows are in the photo above; by the time I got outside it flew away every time (see the ferry though? kind of nice).
In the evening I made potato soup, thought about wrapping gifts but changed my mind when I couldn't find any tape or scissors (why is that?). I went to bed early as I'm reading a very good book (Olive Kitteridge).

Gorgeous pictures....your gray day is exactly like ours, I think Bremen is a combo of Seattle and New Jersey weather wise and greenery. It is amazing how it effects your mood. Everyone here says to get a mood lamp, maybe I will try it. Have a wonderful day!
I love baked potato soup, although havent ever made it myself.
I feel rubbishy on dull days, I blame not being used to it!
Pictures are beautiful
Beautiful pictures. Funny how the tape and scissors seem to walk away.
Check the boys room for tape and scissors; they might be wrapping a surprise... :)
I love going to bed early with a good book.
The weather is miserable here, too.
Light up your heart, my friend. This will make things look brighter.
Lots of stillness in the blogs today. This is beautiful!
I like the last shot- reminds me of two friends sharing their dreams and thoughts. xo
i love all this stillness...beautiful.
Solution: buy 5 rolls of tape and 3 pairs of scissors. Worked for me after years of tape/scissor searching through drawers and between bills and letter. Argh!
Ferry is beautiful....looks like it's floating through the sky.
XO
love that top photo... and the entire mood of this post. yes, it's grey and rainy, but it's so christmas-y with those little sparkling lights!
I must say...your paperwhites are growing MUCH faster than mine. Hmmm. And I read Olive Kitteridge a few months back and absolutely loved it. She's a beautiful writer. Hope today's a bit brighter...
such relaxing photos.
looks like you have a great view from your windows
I love the photos! I am the same way with my days off, I have so much expectations but end up wanting to relax and enjoy the quiet :)
Ah...the light issue. It definitly DOES effect energy levels and moods. It's been grey and rainy here for weeks, and despite all of my super-healthy lifestyle habits now in place I've fallen into my winter hole. Come spring I expect to spend a lot of time with my face turned to the sun, feeding on it's energy.
beautiful and so very peaceful. you must have our weather. we had our first day of sunshine in awhile yesterday. is this s t i l l your own project or a flickr group? i remember there being one around this time a year ago. i love it. as i said, peaceful.

Living in Anchorage, I can definitely attest to the lack of sunlight having an impact on one's mood (thus the potato soup I am sure) I crave foods that convert to energy at this time of year.
Lovely pictures Lecia!!!
Beautiful, moody pics! I can solve one mystery for you... the tape is gobbled up by the varmints. It's like money for them. I'm reading Olive Kitteridge too. It's making me sad.
Hi sweetie,
You have a beautiful, beautiful blog. I feel the love you have for your family. I know this type of love. I have two children, and I love being involved in the everyday with them. : )
What an amazing, photographer you are. Happy holidays!
: )
Love, love the pace of this post. I feel just like that in winter, especially when fog blankets everything.
