enjoying

This weekend I'm enjoying what I have. Food. A home. A safe and healthy family. My heart remains heavy for the people of Haiti. Take a moment to look at all the beautiful handmade donations in the Craft Hope shop. All profits are going to Doctors Without Borders in Haiti.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Boys always love spending time with grandpas, don't they?
At times like these, we're all grateful for what we have.

I just love the photo of grandpa and grandson! I have been following your blog for the last 4 months and I have enjoyed your every post. You and some other bloggers have inspired me to start my own. Although, I'm still fresh at it, I love it because it's so therapeutic. In case you want to read me,it's: manya-mykitchenstories.blogspot.com.
I would love to read your comments!

My parents went to Haiti with our church when I was in elementary school, and so we feel a particular conection to this tragedy. (Our church currently has 90 schools and 10,000 members in Haiti....which is large when you consider that our entire world membership is around 250,000) My dad read this AM of the market they visited having been destroyed...and it gave us all pause.

The minister at a Haitian church in KC, MO was quoted as saying, "God is still here, and good things may come of this yet."
