Hearing: kitten play all. the. time. (thunderous running, scratching, batting...you get the idea.)
Seeing: the first buds of the year; almost giddy at the sight of green.
Tasting: citrus of every variety: blood oranges, grapefruit, clementines
Feeling: rainboots on my feet all week. sea glass and shells.
Smelling: the salty air at low tide. sweaty boys after hockey.

Hearing: The wind howl through the house. Seeing: Sunshine for the first time in over a week. Tasting: Melted marshmallows on top of my English Toffee hot cocoa. Feeling: The bitter cold air burn my nose as I try to breath in. Smelling: Diesel on the clothes of my husband after being in the tractor snowblowing all day.
i forgot to do this and it would have been a lovely post today, as i am feeling quiet online today.
