We've had a cozy few days at home. I spent the better part of today reorganizing the kitchen, boxing up the christmas decorations, and setting aside some things to donate; I'm feeling enormously satisfied at my efforts. Now, at the end of our day, I'm about to settle in to read my second book of the long weekend. Here's to new beginnings!
The boys' new kitties are so adorable! And did you actually have some champagne left over???
Things are settling down a little here...I just took my Michigan group to the airport and will take the New York group tomorrow. Unfortunately, breaking down Christmas will have to wait another day, but I hope I can start a little today. My daughter can help...she's a doll about things like that.
What an interesting sky. Did you see the blue moon? I loved the first book by that author, and I'll be interested in your reactions to the second. Happy reading!

If you are having quiet time with two new kittens in the house, you are lucky indeed!
I too like the cards on the stairs and the kittens playing together. Enjoy! xo
I like all the photos, especially the one of Cal and your husband. It feels good to be productive, but I'm not there yet. Next weekend is my time.
Happy New Year to you and yours Lecia! Looking forward to 2010!
Please let us know how the book is! I loved The Time Traveler's Wife :)
I love the last photo - amazing. For sure let us know what you think of Her Fearful Symmetry; I've had my eye on that one!
happy new year lecia....
Megan: yes we do! Kristin: the kids are keeping the kittens occupied, for the most part; happily they've been quiet in the evenings.
I will let you all know what I end up thinking of Her Fearful Symmetry - so far I'm drawn in!
Thanks for the photo love! xo
