here comes the sun

Hello there! Yesterday the sun was out and at one point I noticed the thermometer said 60. Everywhere I looked, everything seemed beautiful - know what I mean? I saw people out in shorts and tshirts and wondered why I hadn't followed suit.

I'd love to hear what you're up to today. I'm volunteering in the school library this morning (as I do every Thursday), and I'm going to try to get through an impressive list of errands in the afternoon. Happy Thursday and thanks for stopping by!

I love the two photographs! You seem to capture the lighting perfectly.
No big plans today - just cleaning off my desk for the New Year, and I want to accomplish it before Feb. 1st. Don't you love checking off the list? :)

Sorry to go back one post, but....
What did you answer when asked if you ever faked an illness to miss school? Don't you love the questions kids ask?

Lovely photos, again.
I think we are supposed to have a warm but cloudy day today.
I have to return something my daughter gave me for Christmas; had hopes of being able to make it work right, but finally had to give up. And, they are installing a new fire alarm system which will bring us up to code. There will be strobe lights and someone telling you to get out. I said to the installer: this thing will cause a heart attack. He laughed. I was serious.

Shorts and t-shirts.....Lucky! Is the sun still bright yellow? It's been so long! Happy Thursday!

Yesterday I too was noticing the lovely sunlight - although it was only 19 degrees -- nonetheless, the sun was shining and our days are longer! HOORAY!

Today I am making a grocery list for this weekend's soup: White Bean and Kale Minestrone, walking my precious dogs, and preparing for a lovely game of tennis on Friday morning with my senior ladies. xoxo

What a bright post to go with a bright day! This morning it's sunny in CT, too, and I couldn't be more upbeat and overjoyed. Love your photos, as always!

Although, the majority of my day will be spent in the office, and then in the gym, and then at home when the sun will have already gone down :( Enjoy your day!

Love that tulip. I'm looking into an SAT course for my DD and another for the son and later a bunch of driving.

I think I live in the wrong country. Or in the wrong part of the Mediterranean ... Enjoy your sun and your day!

That is a glorious picture!

What did I do today?

Well...I tried to occupy a recovering kid, did strength training in the basement (which was not near so much fun as working out at the gym with my trainer!), worked on a monkey, listened to a bunch of podcasts and am now fixing dinner.

And it was a very, very peaceful day.
