picking up where we left off

Yesterday morning felt as if the incredible sunset from the night before woke up and started again. Winter is so much more manageable for me when we have at least occasional days that aren't gray; this winter we've had a surprising amount of sun and blue sky.

I, for one, am so glad it's Friday! It's our family movie night; we order pizza and cozy up. What are your plans? xoxo

I feel the same about winter grayness. It's very gray here, and snowy, but we've been without electricity for 12 hours and we now got it back on! So thrilled! Perhaps we'll also get a lovely sunset soon:)! Happy Friday!

i don't feel like i usually mind gray days, but i wonder if subconsciously it does effect me...probably.

on a different note, those little people bath toys are darling--would you mind telling me what they are called/where you got them?

Cheerios! Fun. It's been a while....

Let's see, what am I doing this weekend? Aside from working out
(I really am trying this time!) and bundling up for the ghastly drop in temps again tomorrow, I just spent 15 minutes online with Netflix. My son gave me a bluray player and I have it connected to my wifi so can get movies instantly. What a nifty gift!
Happy movie night, Lecia, and, hopefully, a non-gray weekend!

Winter sunshine is a rare and treasured blessing. Enjoy! Our college house guests return to the east coast today, so I'll be starting to transition back to my empty nest.

Our plans today are to try to survive a second snow day! Between the kids' crazy cabin fever and my organizational obsession, yesterday was kind of rough on us all. (If only they had been back to school for more than three days...)

I have to agree completely with you - I think the clutter and craziness of the holiday season (as wonderful as some of that stuff is!) makes me long for clean, clear simplicity.

and we have had a lot of gray, with spare the air days, so no cozy wood fires. have a beautiful day, lecia!

Oh, I love a good family movie night with pizza - enjoy, and have a good weekend!
(We're going over to a friend's house with the kids tonight for dinner - I'm just glad I don't have to cook!)

Thank you friends!

Emily: the toys are vintage fisher price little people bath toys...the set is 3 Men in a Tub. I had the same set as a child & bought this on ebay a few years ago.
