I am a woman who loves a new project. Last week a
flickr group was started for bloggers to post photos of what they're wearing. I love the idea, as I think it will be great to look back at the pictures and remember what I wore at this point in my life. I've really been enjoying looking through the
pool; take a look if you're interested. My photos taken for this project are
here. I'll be taking a new photo about once a week.
A less pleasant project I'm working on is organizing my home. I'm looking for a good storage/organizing idea for the
shelf above my coat closet. Please let me know if you have any great ideas for the
space. Thanks!

I've been working on this very project. Try http://purestylehome.blogspot.com/
She just recently addressed organizing her family coat closet.
I've been donating, tossing and filing since New Year's. It feel wonderful purging unused items.
Lecia what about getting baskets and attach small chalkboard tags (I have gotten a couple at pottery barn kids a couple of years ago and another store, oops forgot the name) with each family members name. One can even be for the kitties to hold most of their toys. Or even neat metal containers could be fun.
i´m catching up on all your photos. they are wonderful. i love your eye. the flickr project sounds like fun. see you over there:)
I am not one for any type of clutter. I once heard somewhere about having a "carry-on lifestyle". That is definitely for me. I notice how my mom is making do in her little hospital room. All you need is some clothes, toiletries, your knitting, books and a cell phone! I am purging clothes that I don't wear. I have in the past purged closets. Next: drawers!
Good luck with your fun and not so fun projects. I'm not sure if I want a pic of what I'm wearing right now. LOL.
I think a basket for each member of the family could work, labeled with each person's name. Or clear bins: one for hats/helmets, one for gloves, one for whatever else is up there. =) I tend to like the clear bins, because you can see what's in them; but at the same time, I kind of like woven baskets for their natural texture and that they hide the mess that is most likely IN them. ;)
I think I'd really give people a terrible scare if I was to show them our shelves and spaces! But I'm curious to about what people wear, that sounds like fun!
I'm afraid I would bore people to death with my own clothing!
Thank you all for this great input!
