We had enough play time, togetherness and rest to fill us up for the week ahead. Our big news from the weekend is that Cal lost his second tooth then lost the lost tooth much to everyone's dismay; many tears were shed. You may remember he still hasn't parted with his first lost tooth. After composing a note to the tooth fairy, we were finally able to get him to sleep.
I wish you a happy start to your week! We're counting the days until Alexi's father comes to town (four). What are you most looking forward to this week?

Hi! Just found your lovely blog & this post was so sweet...I hope your gorgeous son knows that the tooth fairy ALWAYS knows when to visit, even if the tooth is not around! I have 2 family birthdays this week - my youngest sister is 37 (I CANNOT believe that!!) on Wednesday & my adorable nephew is 6 on Sunday. So I'm most looking forward to skyping him in Australia to see his beautiful smile! And I'll be making a cake for Lucy, so it'll be fun to see her ace too. Thanks for a lovely time on your site! I LOVE it when you show things your boys wrote or said. I even show it to my husband. I just think they are so funny and precious!
So thank you for sharing those things with us...

...Oh, and I'm most looking forward to cleaning up and reorganizing my crafts room, and doing some watercoloring this week. So sweet of you to ask! :)
Awww how sweet, bless him the note is so cute.
I so look forward to the stories about your little guys. I hope Cal feels better today about the loss (both ways) of his tooth.
Bet Cal was more upset about losing the tooth itself, as he has saved the other one! The tooth fairy is always very understanding.
Your photo of the kitties is charming...their color is nearly the same as the carpet. You have such an eye! Such fun to watch them play...
i love love love cal's note!
looking forward to some clean and refreshed spaces around here.

So sorry about Cal's tooth!! Julia will keep a tooth for months, then put it under her pillow and wonder why the tooth fairy didn't find it.
oh my gosh, those kittens!!!! they are to DIE for!
Having coffee with H tonight at a local coffee shop.
Your weekend looks wonderful! Did the Tooth Fairy get the note and cut Cal some slack for losing the tooth?
I bet the Tooth Fairy gave him credit for the tooth. And the kittens look so soft and cute!
I'm bummed this week because my sister and her family have to go back to Australia after a month in the US. It's hard not knowing how long it will be before we see them again.
Sorry to bring the room down--happy Monday!
He may finally trust the tooth fairy after her visit this time! One of my boys spat the lost tooth out and down the drain it went ... the agony ... the still magic the morning after!
You have to check out Justin Roberts' (our FAVORITE kids' artist) song, "I Lost the Tooth I Lost." It's available on iTunes, is completely appropriate for the situation, and is a fabulous song. And your kittens are ridiculously cute. :-)

Oh so it got lost. Such a sweet note.
And Lego all over, just as in our house :)
Thank Goodness for those emergency notes to the powers that be! And congrats on the second tooth...we're still waiting to lose one...
I love those letters!!! My kids write letters to the Easter Bunny, Santa and of course the Tooth Fairy (we call the tooth fairy: RATON PEREZ... a mouse that comes and takes the teeth to then go make pearl necklaces :-)) Lovely blog!
Thank you for visiting and for your sympathies about Cal's tooth! xo
That tooth fairy note is the bestest ever! I hope the tooth fairy found sweet Cal. I'm sure she (he?!) did. :-)
