in the snow

It just doesn't feel like winter to me without a little time to play in the snow. We very much enjoyed this aspect of our time at Whistler.

Our weekend back here in Seattle was all sun and blue skies and time with friends. I'm sad the boys are back at school today, and Alexi's back at work; I think we all find it a bit hard to go our separate ways after a vacation. Today I'll be catching up on laundry, and mail, and other post-vacation tasks. Anyone have a good podcast to recommend?

Wishing you a happy and healthy start to your week!

I feel the same after each weekend. I'll come back to read the comments: I'm interested about the podcast suggestions!

Your photos are very Christmasy looking aren't they? They give me a warm feeling.
Hope the boys had fun in the heated pool!

VERY Christmasy! It looks like a winter wonderland, a charming little village.

I don't have any podcast suggestions either, but I'll be checking back for other suggestions!

Let's see...podcasts I HIGHLY recommend:

PRI's Selected Shorts
The Classic Tales
Craftlit
This American Life
Fresh Air

Coming in a bit behind those:
The Creative Mom
CraftCast
Craftsanity

I have several others that I love, but most of them are knitcentric.

Enjoy!

It is hard after spending time as one, sharing a wonderful experience to get back into the routines. Before we know it the weekend will be here again. xo

Hope you enjoyed your time in Canada. Don't know 'bout podcasts, but I'd recommend grooving on this cover from India Arie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJb_Sq7_jjo

Lovely pictures as usual. I always find it hard to come "down to Earth" after a wonderful getaway. I have never listened to a podcast!! But I am about to look into learning how to Photo Shop or a similar program. xoxo

those pics are lovely!!!!! understand why it's so hard to come home to reality when you and your family were sharing the surrounding beauty.
