"Is the Easter bunny with God?" "I don't know."
"Do squirrels have predators?" "Yes, but I don't know what they are."
"Can I get another stuffy?" "OK."
"What's that noise?" "I don't hear anything."
"I'm going to be a radiologist when I grow up so I won't have to learn how to drive. I'll ride to work with Dad, and we can chitchat while we do our work and eat lunch together." "Oh."
"I miss Cinnamon and Piper." "So do I." "When will they come back?" "Oh honey, they will always live in our hearts."
"I'm thirsty." "Go to sleep."

The innocence of children and their thoughts.

So simple & so nice and so deep with feelings :) thanks for sharing with us.
love to hear their thoughts and feelings. delish, lecia!
I can imagine Dad melting when he learned that his boy wants to grow up a radiologist so he can chitchat with him throughout the day!
Really sweet!
Really very very funny. will laugh all day remembering it. ahh kids! i once read "they make you young but first they make you old"!!
So funny.
Love the comment about being a radiologist! Too funny!
We don't usually have any cute bedtime comments. My oldest just dissapears into her room to read, and usually we're chasing down the youngest.
You positively must get to the library and read the boys (if you haven't already) Llama Llama Red Pajama. You'll be able to relate.
Be thankful he doesn't want to drive. That will change all too soon.
Kristin: I'm amazed your oldest just disappears quietly. Perhaps it's because my boys share a room, but we get lots of 'commentary' from both of them.
This is precious! Your boys seem so snuggly and cute.
Sweet! Would this be Abbott sharing or both boys? Thanks for giving us a peek- I'm glad you did. Just think this priceless moment is not only recorded in your heart, now on your blog for them to read some day. xo
The things you think about when you are a child....
Love the question about the Easter Bunny. :)
Hello. I found your blog through a friend of mine & I enjoy your photos and comments. I can definitely relate to all the things that come up at the bedtime hour.
Also, I love the mirror in this picture. Did you make it or buy it somewhere? :)
Joyce: both boys :)
Karla: thank you - we custom ordered the mirror from a company called sticks.
LOL sounds very similar to conversations around here.
