Yesterday I noticed forget-me-nots for the first time this spring. I love them. The forget-me-not is my home state, Alaska's, state flower and, more importantly, they remind me of my engagement. The day Alexi proposed (May 13, 2000) we rode a tandem bicycle on the Burke-Gilman trail to the Chateau Ste. Michelle winery; there were forget-me-nots in abundance on the trail that day.
Later today I'll be sharing a tour of my garden, so check back in if you have a minute.
Happy Tuesday to you!

I didn't plant Forget me nots in our garden, yet we have alot of them. We love them. They remind us of our loved ones.
Such a pretty flower. I've never seen them here. And what a perfect one to have such an unforgettable memory linked to!
You have a much sweeter memory than mine! (My engagement involved a rubber snake...long story...)
Lecia! I just wrote a post that I saved to my drafts about forget-me-nots . . . must be the season! Great story to go along with them :)
You have a big anniversary coming up, Lecia! Anything special planned?
Happy Tuesday and thanks for sharing your sweet memory.
gorgeous gorgeous shot
Beautiful photo. I can't wait to see some forget-me-nots growing. I tried several times to plant them in Texas and never had success. That is neat they remind of you of your engagement! How appropriate.
What sweet memories those forget-me-knots muster. I love it when nature's beauty brings about memories like that.
forget-me-nots are just so sweet and cheery aren't they?
