something to think about

There are a number of quotes sprinkled in our family calendar; we move them ahead after reading them to contemplate again at some future point. Over the weekend I encountered 'hope is not a strategy'. I like this periodic reminder that hope doesn’t replace planning and hard work.

Something to think about for your Monday. xo

Gorgeous photos! The quote is good for everyone: kids and adults alike. Smart thinking to post them on your calendar.

Reminds me of our family favorite - God only helps those who help themselves!

I like how the boy's hands and the dirt forms the shape of a heart to match the bleeding heart plant. xo

The role of hope in our lives has always been cause of debate. I l like the myth of Pandora, and the box with all the suffering in it. In the earlier versions, humans were doomed when Pandora shut the box closed before hope could come out.
