this week

I find it incredibly fun, enjoying Calvin & Hobbes with Abbott as I used to with my little brother. We've been reading and lounging and playing games and pondering great mysteries ('do the angels play?' ' does God play?').

I'm trying not to notice that it's cold and gray and there appears to be no end in sight on the forecast.

I wish you a happy Thursday!

i used to like calvin & hobbes :)

we've had a long pesach vacation, and as much as i enjoy those long days with no structure and pure fun, it was lovely to return to everyday life, get a bit of me-time when the kids are off to kindergarten (and get some of the beach sand out of the house)

Never read Calvin & Hobbes, looks like I missed a lot of fun:)! I love unstructured days, unfortunately they don't happen very often as even during holidays there's always someone who needs to do something on a particular day.

Lovely that you and the boys are enjoying yourselves, but wish the weather would co-operate a little more for you!

Gray rainy days unstructured lazy days are best for that. Maybe some homemade cookies will brighten the day.

Last week my son was on Spring Break, and it was great to have him home with us...sleeping in, no real schedule...I agree, those are the best times, really! Happy Thurs. to you, too. :)

this post shows you don't need fancy or expensive gadgets for fun, and that fun can be had right at home with your best buddy, Mom. What a sweet moment, Lecia! enjoy it while they are so young and innocent. xoxoxo

Oh goodness....I just went through a bunch of photos the other day so that I could show my trainer what I looked like when I was at my ideal weight, and was reminded of my old days of the "Calvin Face." There are way, way too many pictures of me with the crazy sideways tongue and squint....
