Wednesday

Hello!

Over the weekend we stopped to buy halibut for our evening meal. As we were waiting for the fish to be weighed and wrapped, Cal started whispering to me, "let's get shrimp!" "let's get clams!" "I want some mussels!". I love having a kid who finds the seafood counter as good as a candy counter.

Crossword puzzle aficionados - a food crossword! Love.

I'm hoping for a productive day - I've been on a bit of an organizing frenzy this week. I'm using some of these ideas for my garage. Knowing that school's out in a month (ie won't get anything done again until September) has been a great motivator for me.

What are you up to today?

So nice to hear this. My boy is exactly the same. He loves seafood in every way and Japanese food.

When I take my eldest grocery shopping with me, we always leave with unplanned purchases from the meat department ... Wish your organizing frenzy was contagious, I just can't be motivated lately.

That's so good and a great pic. Knitting for me today.

I love that Cal loves seafood. I've always loved it, even when I was just a kiddie. Yum!
Happy Wednesday.

Your boys are too darn cute. My kids wanted to bring home everything we found at the beach yesterday--to eat. I didn't think it would be too healthy to eat a days dead crab, so I had to bribe them with promises that we'll head to the harbor next time the fish comes in for sale! Have fun organizing. I'm off to get my Alaska driver's license today--finally! I hope I pass the test. Ugh.

I'm running up to the school to volunteer--for the first time in weeks. Our last day is May 28! Whoa, where did the spring go?

How did your garage turn out? Photos, please.

How sweet!

I love the fish counter too, my Mom is too afraid to try to cook fish. However, I didn't like mussels until recently. The first time I tried them I was 17 and hated the taste.

Ack! Don't say nothing will get done until September once school is out. You'll jinx me! ;)
