As I write this the boys are pretending to be asleep, reading in their beds. Abbott's last baseball game of the season was tonight. We're looking forward to pizza and a movie, our Friday night tradition, and summer vacation in a week.

I found this article about kids and sports to be quite interesting.

Happy Friday!

Pizza was always a Friday night tradition when I grew up. My only problem with it was that I hated the pizza choice: Sausage and cheese. It took years for my dad to agree to include a plain cheese pie. xoxo

Oh my gosh you guys are still in school? That is so May! :)

I read that article too and really soaked it up--and we aren't even a soccer family. I thought it had a lot to say in general about the American approach to cultivating kids' talents.

Have a great weekend.

I love your pizza and movie Fridays! Such a great idea. What are you going to watch? I'm catching up with Lost, which I never saw (I don't watch a lot of TV) when it was on originally. Netflix is a delight.
(I mentioned you in my post today)
