As many of you noticed, something went awry with this site yesterday and it disappeared for a few hours. The problem is resolved; however, every comment ever left seems to have been erased. I'm kind of sick about it. So much of what I enjoy about this space is the interaction I have with you all. I'm holding out a bit of hope that the comments will be found and returned; if they aren't recovered, I guess I'll keep their emotional content in my memory, if not the exact semantics.
Poppytalk is hosting a week of summer colors; I thought I'd play along at least for today, as I love yellow.
I hope you're having a nice Tuesday. xo

You're taking it so graciously Lecia, I'm all envy. I hope your comments can be retrieved.
Hey Lecia,
So glad to see that you're back on your rightful spot on the web. I hope you manage to retrieve your comments!
These are beautiful!
I do hope you sort this out.
And here I thought it was only Blogger that caused problems! Sometimes I lose patience with them. But perhaps it's the same no matter who or where.
I do hope you retrieve your comments, Lecia!
Sorry that you lost all your comments. Hopefully, they will return. I love yellow too!
Hi Lecia,
I was really worried yesterday but the main thing is that you're back with us and we can see your wonderful photos. A pity about the comments though. A colour theme sounds nice, i'll see if I can find time to play along too.
Oh bummer. Thanks for the prettry today though.
Oh no! That makes me feel sick too. I really enjoy reading past comments, on my own blog and others'. They really should be floating around on Google/Blogger somewhere--that is a strange mix-up. This prompted me to ask my husband how to back up a blog. He said it's not that easy to do, but that there is software for it. I might look into it.
Glad you're back in your rightful place though!
Oh ouch. I'm so sorry to hear about that.
However, I spent a lot of time thinking about what to do with 14ish years worth of email from my husband which I've kept on disk...and this was a good lesson of the importanice to hold on to things in the heart if not in reality.
"oh, bother" is so gentle compared to the cuss words I would be saying. I agree, there is so much substance and rounding out of my blog through the comments. I am so so sorry. I am glad you are back, though!
Nicola
What happened, by the way?
